Please indulge me with a few musings about being a grandparent. Over the last several weeks I have had the privilege of being in the presence of my grandchildren. These are precious moments because they are precious gifts from God. Margaret and I have waited a long time to become grandparents. We moved to our present city so that we could be near our grandchildren as they grow-up. I’m not really sure who is shaping whom here, but we are really enjoying the experience.
I have a number of grandparents who do read this blog on a regular basis … so today’s offering is being offered for them because grandparents are special people too! The blog today is a collection of quotes sent to me by a grandparent. I would add my own quote to the list: Life is too meaningful not to fill it with the laughter and joy of grandchildren.
