Nothing is impossible with God (Jeremiah 32:17)

SCRIPTURE: Jeremiah 32:17 (TM)
Dear God, my Master, you created earth and sky by your great power - by merely stretching out your arm! There is nothing you can't do.

STORY:
Years ago new engineers in the Lamp Division of General Electric were assigned, as a joke, the impossible task of frosting bulbs on the inside. Eventually, however, an undaunted newcomer named Marvin Pipkin not only found a way to frost bulbs on the inside but developed an etching acid that gave minutely rounded pits instead of sharp depressions. This materially strengthened each bulb. Fortunately, no one had told him it couldn't be done, so he did it.

OBSERVATION:
Why is it we think more often about reasons why something cannot be accomplished instead of why it could? Is it just human nature to think negatively instead of positive? When you think that out of nothing God created the universe the possibilities become endless for those who believe.

We can do anything! ANYTHING! Just like that little engine who kept on saying to himself, “I think I can, I think I can…” and he did.

Maybe we just need to God-size our vision. Stretch ourselves spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically… after all we are really only using about 10% (if that much) of all of our attributes and abilities.

We just need to become Possibility Thinkers. The world hasn’t seen nothing yet of what can happen when a few God-believers begin to imagine of what could be.

Take time today and write down your wildest thoughts or dreams. Then sit back, pray, and God-size that vision because it just might be too small when God takes it on as His thought and dream. I hope that none of you get whiplash as God takes over!

Just tell the world, “You ain’t seen nothing yet! Just wait and see what God does next.” And then believe that God will!

PRAYER:
We believe, help our unbelief that you can do anything and everything. Nothing is impossible. Nothing … help us to live into that reality!
