God spoke loud and clear to our circumstances Easter morning. (Psalm 126:4) Are we listening? ... with a little spiritual reflection from Oswald Chambers.

SCRIPTURE: Psalm 126:4 (CEB)
LORD, change our circumstances for the better, like dry streams in the desert waste!

STORY by Oswald Chambers, “My Utmost For His Highest”:
"Get into the habit of saying, 'Speak, Lord,' and life will become a romance. Every time circumstances press in on you say, 'Speak, Lord,' and make time to listen. Chastening is more than a means of discipline--it is meant to bring me to the point of saying, 'Speak, Lord.' Think back to a time when God spoke to you. Do you remember what he said? As we listen, our ears become more sensitive, and like Jesus, we will hear God all the time."

OBSERVATION:
God spoke. God spoke loud and clear. God spoke a final and lasting word. God spoke and resurrection became a reality. Are we listening?

God’s word of resurrection and life is directed to our life and its circumstances.

Too many times we feel overwhelmed by life. We fill that our circumstances is just too overpowering that even God cannot handle it. God speaks the answer … it is called Easter morning. As the Psalmist said: “Joy comes in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5) If God can defeat death then there isn’t anything that he cannot handle. If he can handle it then we can face it. And God’s joy can be ours. Are we listening? He IS speaking!

PRAYER:
Help us to make time to listen.
